Verge Cutting

When and how many times are they cut?
Verges are cut one metre from the roadside edge twice a year. 1st cut starts in May and the second in August, both cuts have a completion time of six weeks.
Junctions, road signs and blind bends are cut at least 3 times a year

Why has this area been left uncut?
Some specific areas of verge (sites of ecological interest) are cut at specific times of the year.
